Texaco Rando HD
Rando HD is a premium grade anti-wear hydraulic oil series formulated to meet the stringent operating requirements of positive displacement, high pressure, high speed hydraulic pumps.

Rando HD is light-colored, premium, anti-wear hydraulic oil series blended from high quality paraffin base stocks with excellent stability. It is rust and oxidation inhibited and contains a specially selected anti-foamant which permits very rapid release of entrained air. This latter point is important since entrained air will cause system sponginess, thus, affecting the rapidity and accuracy of system response. Rando HD also contains a very effective zinc-type anti-wear agent that helps minimize wear in high speed, high pressure vane and gear pumps while meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston pumps having bronze-on-steel metallurgy. Extremely low pump part weight losses were obtained in the industry recognized severe Vickers 35VQ25 and Denison T5D-42 Pump Wear Tests. Piston pump performance is also very good, as demonstrated in the severe (5000 psi) Denison P-46 Axial Piston Pump Test. No evidence of wear or distress was observed at the end of the 100 hour test. This series is highly stable under thermal and/or oxidative stress. In the Turbine Oil Oxidation Test (ASTM D 943), over 1500 hours are required to oxidize the popular 32, 46, & 68 grades to a 2.0 neutralization number. These products are exceptionally stable in the presence of moisture and show little tendency to hydrolyze and attack copper. Contamination with water does not adversely affect filterability.

Texaco Ursa Super Plus 15W-40
Ursa Super Plus is a 1% sulfated ash engine oil recommended for heavy duty diesel and gasoline engines operating in both on- and off-highway service.

Ursa Super Plus is intended for use in turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines in various types of service with either high or low sulfur fuels. They meet or exceed the requirements of most manufacturers of heavy duty trucks, construction, mining, farming, and high speed marine diesel engines. They are especially suited for engines under warranty and for applications where high performance API CG-4, CF-4, CF-2, CF, CE, CD-11 or CD oils are recommended.

Ursa Super Plus also meets the requirements of medium and light-duty diesel engines, and two-stroke diesel engines.

Ursa Super Plus further meets the highest performance category of gasoline engines, API SJ (except for the SAE 10W and SAE 20 viscosity grades). They may also be used in many heavy duty LPG, CNG, and alternate fueled engines.

Other common uses of Ursa Super Plus include: transmissions, torque converters, final drives, differentials, hydraulics, and compressors which specify the use of a qualified engine oil.

Ursa Super Plus can be used successfully in industrial applications such as: gear drives, pumps, chains, or where a detergent type engine oil is required.
